Casual Event Researcher - Port Douglas Carnivale Type: Temporary Post Date: Wed Apr 17 06:29:21 2024 Ref: BBBH4295 Casual Event Researcher in PORT DOUGLAS Great hourly rate3 Day roleOpportunity to meet people and have fun while workingThe Client Our Client is a are research specialists with over 30 years' experience in the event, tourism and sporting industries. Their main focus is consumer research , event strategy, economic and social impacts and performance measurements.
The Opportunity This role is at the Port Douglas Carnivale, doing field research (surveying event attendees). The role is for 3 days on May 24, 25 and 26 for a minimum of 4 hours.
About You The key attributes for the successful candidate will be:
Strong communication skills, this role is 100% customer facingConfident approaching strangers from all demographicsComfortable moving amongst crowds and being on their feet throughout the shiftProactive and self-motivatedIt is essential they are well presentedAn overview of the role as far as what will be provided and what is expected:
Staff will be supplied with an identification lanyard, event accreditation and an iPad loaded with the survey.A brief including the event layout, proposed interviewing locations, interviewing tips and iPad training will be supplied.They will be required to approach event attendees and invite them to take part in the survey.Staff will verbally run through the survey with each attendee and input responses on their behalf.Each survey should take approx. 3-5 minutes and staff are expected to achieve 10-12 surveys per hour.Payment based on the Market and Social Research Award rate.To Apply Applications in Word format should be forwarded to us by clicking the 'Apply' button below.
