About the program The Family Preservation WSNBM program provides targeted support to vulnerable families to prevent children and young people (0 to 17 years old) from escalating into the child-protection or Out of Home Care system.
What you'll do We are looking for an outstanding Caseworker who is conscientious, reliable and motivated about making a difference.
As a Caseworker you will be working with a team of exceptional professionals who practise within an evidenced based framework.
We are seeking staff who wish to apply their skills in the complex child protection area.
Although this will be your focus, you will have to work with all members of the family unit.
You will work within the service provision guidelines and Wesley Family Preservation's framework by maintaining a focus on child wellbeing outcomes which are managed through mandatory reporter guidelines and effective safety planning with the family.

Who you are university qualifications in Social Work or equivalent experience of working within a community services and / or child and family social work environment demonstrated commitment to child focused practice, that involves the identification and analysis of safety and wellbeing concerns for children supportive, tactful and empathetic nature with the ability to make clear judgements that promotes the rights, interests and wellbeing of children culturally competent with experience working alongside CALD and Aboriginal families NSW Drivers Licence and willingness to travel between 3 metro sites regularly a current Working with Children's Check (WWCC).
