About the role We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Case Worker at our Townsville location.
Reporting to the Team Leader, this is a permanent, full-time position.
This role will look to provide effective service delivery, ensuring case management, assessment and referral, education and support are provided in accordance with TSA guidelines (within a comprehensive participant-led, recovery-based framework).
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the SCHADS Award, level 4.
You will successfully Provide efficient day to day service delivery through education, interventions, group work, assessment, referral and case work within a recovery-orientated and person-led service environment.
Develop and monitor individual treatment plans and maintain case management documentation, records, reports and data collection, utilising established case planning procedures.
Undertake ad hoc duties as requested by the Manager or Team Leader.
Acquire and maintain a good working knowledge of referral and support options for participants.
Work effectively independently and as part of a team.
You will have (Requisite Skills & Qualifications) Minimum of Diploma level qualification in a relevant discipline (AOD, Community Services, Case Management).
Completed 4 AOD Skill Set Units (or willing to undertake/complete during employment).
Demonstrated ability to deal with unpredictable situations and behaviours utilising de-escalation techniques.
At least two years' experience in recovery, if applicable.
WWCC – working with children's check.
