Kirinari employ over 1300 staff in various regions across VIC, NSW & TAS. Our core values guide our strong service delivery to enact positive change and choice in the lives of the clients we support.Key Responsibilities:The Case Manager is responsible for providing high quality and effective case work services to our youth customers (up to 18 years of age) and National Disability Insurance Scheme/Department of Communities and Justice participants. The Case Manager will provide practical support, evidence-based/informed therapeutic education and support whilst building suitable support networks through the engagement of specialist services.This position will also undertake the following duties:Provide effective assessment, planning, implementation, monitoring and review of case plans to achieve identified outcomes for our customersOversee an allocated caseload/programWork with our allocated team leaders to assist with the management of staff to ensure our teams are operating within Out Of Home Care (OOHC), NDIS standards/guidelines and Kirinari policies and procedureAssistance/liaising with rostering team and the on-call team as requiredAttending stakeholder meetings and maintaining positive relationships with external stakeholdersThis is a full-time permanent position to commence as soon as practicable. This position will require travel across the Bathurst RegionAbout You:Tertiary qualifications relevant to the position (eg Social Work/Psychology/ Community Services)Demonstrated experience in casework practice (Child Protection /Out-of-Home-Care is highly regarded)Evidence of a holistic understanding of the complexity of the child protection and OOHC service system, legislation and the issues involved in providing services to statutory clientsDemonstrated experience in working with children and young people who have experienced trauma and/or have complex needsA knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture, values and the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people and their familiesA track record of working collaboratively and the demonstrated capacity to negotiate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders including, DCJ, other agencies and the communityExposure to DCJ and NDIA requirementsAbility to plan, organise and prioritise work in a rapid paced responsive environmentProven highly developed interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence and excellent engagement skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to maintain documentation to a high professional standardHold a current driver's license and a willingness to travel across the regionWillingness and capacity to assist with hands-on customer support is desiredAbility to participate and adhere to On-Call responsibilitiesAbility to obtain a NDIS Workers Check before commencementAbility to obtain a Working with Children Check before commencementWhat's on Offer?A rewarding career with ability to give back to our community in a growing service sectorOpportunities to upskill, develop and progress within the organisationA supportive team environmentAccess to generous salary packaging Annual Leave up to 5 weeksStrong focus on employee health and wellbeing with assistance programs availableApplications close 5pm, Friday 26th July 2024 Due to the high volume of applications, the interview process may commence before the closing date. WHY WAIT?
