Program Overview Anglicare North Queensland is seeking a case manager for its Community Recovery - Jasper program. Through its Mobile Support the Community Recovery Team works with disaster impacted community members across a large geographical catchment area in its community engagement work. The team works to support disaster impacted communities in their recovery efforts through a collaboration of community partnerships providing human and social support to assist the emotional, social and physical wellbeing elements relating to the on-going recovery from Tropical Cyclone Jasper impacts.
To Be Successful You Will Need Proven case management experience using a holistic and client centered approach to managing your case load. Extensive experience working in government funded programs with strict budgetary and contractual requirements of service. Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government bodies, community organisations, and other service providers to provide efficient and effective services to clients. Knowledge of organisational programs, policies and operations. Industry relevant qualifications or relevant industry experience. Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, families and communities will be highly regarded Experience working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds will be highly regarded Compliance A current QLD Drivers Licence 'Class C' or interstate equivalent. Across the region ANQL employs over 200 staff and volunteers and encourages in its operations social diversity, access and inclusion, community and consumer participation (where this is applicable).
The organisation is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors based providing regional representation and the operations are managed by the Chief Executive Officer. ANQL board members are committed to being independent in nature, taking ultimate responsibility in ensuring effective mechanisms are in place that enable collective decision making, with clear policies and procedures to ensure that all legal, ethical and social responsibilities are fulfilled.
