Monday to Friday hours with the opportunity for overtime$40-$65 per hour + overtime + penalty ratesGreat team cultureBuilding and construction industry Our client is known for their strong presence in the building and construction industry, specialising in the residential, multi-res/townhouse, civil works and demolition.
Due to growth and a high volume of long-term secured projects we're currently seeking experienced Carpenters to join their team in a full-time permanent capacity.

The role: Review drawings to determine which materials and installation approach to useUse power tools to cut and prepare timber and assemble wood to form structures as requiredCreate building frameworks, floors and roofs, skirting boards (rough in to fit out)Fit doors and window framesAssemble and install prefabricated structuresInstall fixtures and hardware such as door handles, locks, insulating material or underlay What we're looking for: Certificate III in carpentry, white card, asbestos awareness, and working at heights cards.Own vehicle, drivers licence and basic tools.Experience and understanding of residential construction and detailing.Ability to achieve thoroughness and accuracy with strong attention to detail.Reliable motivated qualified Carpenter competent in start to finish carpentry elements.Ability to work to a program / schedule.Ability to read and interpret plans.The ability to develop and maintain effective relationships and communication with the carpentry team, other contractors and staff, displaying confidence and respect when dealing with others.Maintain construction sites in a neat and tidy manner at all times.Work with the Site Supervisor and carpentry crew to create a collaborative team environment to achieve positive outcomes for the project and our clients.A positive can-do attitudeThe ability to work autonomously and as a team What's in it for you: Full-time permanent positionMonday to Friday hours with the opportunity for overtime$40-$65 per hour + overtime + penalty ratesGreat team cultureUniform provided
