Carlisle Adventist College in beautiful Mackay is a Christian co-educational Prep to Year 12 College (owned and operated by Seventh-day Adventist Schools Northern Australia Limited (NAC)). Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Northern Australia) Ltd. is seeking a Student Services Administrative Assistant for 2025. This is a full-time fixed-term position, with the possibility of permanency in the future pending successful review.

Qualification & Experience Proven administration and customer service skills Excellent time management and organisational abilities Pro-active, energetic and resourceful Detail oriented with strong multi-tasking capabilities Good written and verbal communication skills Able to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines as required Ability to work independently as well as within a team Competent in MS Word, Excel and other Microsoft programs Hold or be eligible to hold a Positive Blue Card Pleasant phone manner Willingness to learn Key Responsibilities Managing daily student roles – absences, discrepancies Manage the bus runs (e.g. notifying the drivers of students catching the bus) Attend to student enquiries as required (e.g. assisting students with general enquiries) Provide First Aid and administer medication to students Communicate with parents/carers regarding the health needs of students (e.g. following up on medical management plans) Engage with internal & external clientele as required in a timely and professional manner. Assist in any ad-hoc duties, projects and activities as required. It is preferable that the successful applicant be a baptised and practising member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, or a practising Christian sympathetic to the unique Seventh-day Adventist identity of the College.
