Newcastle Anglican are holding a careers open day for Care Assistants looking to join one of our facilities in Newcastle/Lake Macquarie. The open day will be held on 17th October in Booragul and run for approximately 1 – 2 hours.
The open day will give you the opportunity to meet with current staff and have a tour of CA Brown Lodge in Booragul.
Only people who hold the relevant qualifications and experience will be invited to the open day.

Role & Responsibilities: Actively promote Anglican Care's positive culture through interactions with residents, staff and their families Consistent delivery of person-centered care to residents in our facilities Observe confidentiality matters at all times associated with documentation and communications Abide by Aged Care Standards Work as an effective team member About you: Certificate III/IV in Individual Support Current First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement) or willing to obtain An ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to accurately document residents' care/progress Who we are: Formerly known as the Anglican Diocese of Newcastle, Newcastle Anglican is a faith-based organisation serving the people of the Hunter and the Central Coast.
