In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of cane to our operations, requiring a mix of energy, problem-solving abilities, and a genuine passion for logistics.
You'll also have the opportunity to cultivate strong relationships with our local growers and the local grower representative body.
As a pivotal player on our team, reporting directly to the General Manager of Cane Supply and Grower Relations, this role calls for more than just technical know-how.
You'll be at the forefront of steering our strategic direction, navigating through complex challenges with finesse, and propelling innovative initiatives forward.
Your responsibilities will include:Lead and implement Environment, Health, and Safety initiatives.Provide clear and impactful strategic guidance.Ensure the smooth and cost-effective operation of our logistics operations, driving efficiency.Build and maintain positive connections with Growers and Grower Representative Bodies.Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork across our business departments.About YouYou don't need to be Sugar flavoured, but ideally you will have tertiary qualifications in management or business - particularly in logistics.
However, if you possess innate leadership abilities, a knack for problem-solving, exceptional communication skills (and are keen to get some fishing in on the weekend!)
