  We are currently looking for a full-time Cabler (Data and Telecommunications) to join our team.
  Tasks and Responsibilities:   Reviewing blueprints, guidelines, and the workspace to establish the ideal location and connectivity for the equipment to be set up.
Identifying malfunctions in telecommunication devices utilizing tools like ohmmeters, voltmeters, ammeters, and transmission measurement devices.
Connecting electrical wires and cables to devices.
Troubleshooting, substituting, and fixing defective components, followed by validation through electronic testing tools.
Setting up wiring infrastructure for services like phone lines, radio, pay television, and internet data transfer.
Splicing cables and securing the cable jackets using lead or thermoplastic materials.
Constructing, evaluating, and preserving above ground and subterranean wiring as well as antennas for radio and mobile phones.
Implementing telecommunication devices and systems such as phone sets, switchboards, and data communication hardware.
  Work Experience and Skills: Relevant qualifications or work experience.
Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
Knowledge of cabling standards, network configurations, and equipment.
Familiarity with fibre optic and copper cabling technologies.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  Salary package: $ $73,150 p.a.
plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
