About the Opportunity This is an exciting time to join a diverse company and a talented team of Business Solutions Analysts.
The role will be challenging and rewarding as the position plays a key role in Home & Energy division and requires the development of highly effective working relationships across the business.
We're looking for… A highly adaptable and resourceful relationship builder with proven business process mapping expertise, problem solving abilities and the capability to work in a diverse and complex environment.
Here's a glimpse of what you'll be doing….
Participate in projects for the Home & Energy Division and work with product teams on new initiatives Assists in the production of required deliverables during the Ideation and Evaluate phases such as Customer Journeys, Idea Brief and Business Cases Liaise with product owners/specialists, operations and sales to elicit and document requirements/processes/user stories Develop deep expertise in Home & Energy products to provide support of production systems and processes Lead and facilitate the validation of requirements using tools such as data analysis, documentation review, prototypes, demos, and other validation methods to ensure requirements are complete, accurate and aligned with goals and objectives.
Refine and manage product back logs with the product owner and team Develop detailed testing scenarios and acceptance criteria based on user stories Work with change managers and operations to understand the impact of new applications and systems Maintain strong governance practices and stakeholder consultation What you'll need to be successful This is a permanent full-time role, and it is based in Melbourne CBD with hybrid working conditions.
Reporting to the Business Solutions Manager, your career experience will include: Working in a medium to large size organisation 7+ years' work experience as a business analyst or similar technology based role supporting end-to-end projects from planning to testing and delivery Strong understanding and exposure to a broad range of technology concepts and their application Experience in business process mapping, process re-engineering, data modelling and requirements elicitation, backlog refinement, wireframing, using relevant business process modelling and testing techniques.
Producing high quality documentation including business requirements specification, functional requirement specification, user stories, other associated project delivery documents Supporting production systems through incident management processes Strong written and oral communication skills with an ability to confidently facilitate, present and articulate to a diverse range of audiences while using a variety of verbal, written and visual methods Conduct stakeholder analysis to identify those impacted by changes to processes, procedures, technology and ways of working, and partner effectively with a range of stakeholders across a broad range of initiatives Strong analytical and logical collaborative approach to problem solving, root cause analysis, user impact analysis, persona identification, gap analysis, and options analysis to provide recommendations for business solutions Experience working within a recognized project management methodology, preferably Agile/Scrum Experience with a CRM (e.g.
Salesforce, Dynamics) and familiar with concepts around sales and case management.
Experience in Agile documentation (e.g.
JIRA, Confluence) and process mapping/collaboration tools (e.g.
