About the role
As the Business Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of Glen Eira Leisure (GEL). Your leadership will inspire your teams to achieve excellence, your strategic oversight will align operations with our business objectives, and your commitment to quality will ensure our programs and services remain at the forefront of the industry. Additionally, your ability to engage with customers and resolve issues effectively will uphold our high standards of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Oversee the People Development, Risk and Compliance, Innovation and Administration, and Customer Experience teams, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.
Strategic Execution: Oversee the execution of the GEL business plan relevant to your teams, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and contributing to our overall success.
Operational Support: Provide essential support to the General Manager of Glen Eira Leisure in the day-to-day operations of our facilities and services, ensuring smooth and effective management.
Performance Management: Ensure your teams meet or exceed KPIs, drive continuous improvement, and maintain high standards of service and compliance.
Standards Development: Continually develop and enhance the performance and standards of your teams, programs, and services to position Glen Eira Leisure as an industry leader.
Audit Compliance: Ensure all required audits are conducted promptly and meet the minimum KPIs set out in the GEL Business Plan, maintaining rigorous standards of accountability and performance.
Customer Engagement: Manage dispute resolutions and ensure GEL's Customer Service Charter is upheld, providing exceptional service to all stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience
Demonstrated commitment and adherence to organisational values and behaviours.
Tertiary qualifications in Business or related field OR less formal qualifications with substantial relevant experience.
Previous facility management experience at a senior level.
Outstanding leadership and management skills.
Strong business/commercial acumen.
Experience in the provision of a quality customer service environment.
Experience with service contract management, preparation, and procurement.
