Job Description The Opportunity
As the Business Process Management Lead within our Transformation team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing HCA's transformative initiatives. We are seeking an experienced professional with lean expertise to drive process optimisation across the organisation. In this dynamic role, you will help streamline workflows, enhance customer satisfaction, and boost efficiency by applying lean principles to reduce waste and variability. Your contributions will directly influence our strategic goals by ensuring that processes are well-documented, understood, and continuously improved to create maximum value for our customers and stakeholders.
What you'll do
Process Architecture: Develop and maintain a structured framework for managing business processes, ensuring comprehensive visibility into their interdependencies.
Process Mapping: Collaborate with SMEs to map and document workflows using tools such as flowcharts and value stream maps, providing a clear representation of processes.
Analysis and Evaluation: Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, offering data-driven recommendations for process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Process and Procedure Documentation: Create detailed and user-friendly documentation, including process maps and work instructions, utilising BPMN and other standard notations.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders across departments, ensuring their involvement and alignment in process improvement initiatives.
Process Improvement Initiatives: Lead and monitor process improvement projects, measuring their impact on organisational performance.
Training and Support: Provide training and support for teams adopting optimised processes, ensuring smooth transitions and adherence.
Best Practices & Innovation: Stay current on process management trends and apply innovative methods to ensure the organisation remains at the forefront of process optimisation.
Desired Skills and Experience What you'll bring:
Genuine interest in social justice and the not-for-profit sector
Tertiary qualifications in business or a related field.
Minimum of three years' experience in process improvement, lean management, or consulting.
Certification in Business Process Management.
Proficiency in lean methodologies such as value stream mapping, 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, and Six Sigma.
Demonstrated experience using Business Process Management tools and process mapping tools like Visio.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Willingness to continuously learn new skills and adapt to changing environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Flexibility to meet evolving business needs and priorities.
A proactive, continuous improvement mindset, driving innovative solutions to enhance efficiency.

Provide a current driver's license and willingness to travel across Housing Choices' locations, if and as required.
