THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING This is a diverse role that is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of an established Accounting, Business Services & Corporate Advisory firm and supporting the Board of Directors to achieve short term and long-term strategic goals. We are seeking a passionate leader that can bring the team along the journey, and help the business grow and prosper.
Reporting to the directors this role is responsible for all the operational, finance, information technology, human resources, marketing, and high-level administration functions of the business and providing support in performance management and profitability objectives.
THIS ROLE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR Managing internal administration and all operational functions of the business to successfully meet client expectationsPreparation of monthly reporting & statutory compliance for the businessLiaising and relationship building with all internal & external stakeholdersOverseeing administration and finance team and ensuring ongoing training and development of teamDelivering all Human Resources support duties as well as recruitment and performance reviews, and OHS complianceEnsure timely and accurate processing of payroll, super guarantee payments and associated payroll obligationsPreparation of annual budget and management reportsManaging and overseeing the IT infrastructure in collaboration with an external IT provider and providing recommendations for improvementOverseeing the development and implementation of a marketing planAttending to various practice administration tasks.THIS IS WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 5+ years of practical experience and proven track record managing a similar accounting or professional services firm.Tertiary Qualifications, ideally CPA or CA.Strong financial reporting, interpretation, and compliance expertise.Sound knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements and keeping abreast of emerging laws and requirements.High level ability using Xero & Microsoft Office Suite, and other software.Ability to lead, mentor and coach a team.Ability to develop strong and ongoing relationships with Directors, managers and personnel through strong interpersonal skills.HOW TO APPLY Join this sought-after industry leader and enjoy a collaborative and empowering team environment.
