Full Time Fixed Term – 12 months (parental leave) Flexible Working arrangements Part Time applicants will be considered ThePosition
The Business Partner HR will work collaboratively with the HR team and form relationships as a trusted adviser across the organisation, understanding, sharing and contributing to the achievement of business objectives by developing, coordinating and advising on core Human Resource matters.
About You
Youwillhave a degree in Human Resources field and HR experience in a similar role. You have experience operatinga Human Resource Information system (HRIS) including reporting and analysis of data andhighly developed communication skills including the ability to consult, liaise, influence and provide education to enable customers regarding Council human resource matters.
You caninterpret Industrial legislation including understanding of relevant employment legislation including the Queensland Industrial Relations Act and relevant Awards.
Additionally, you haveanalytical and problem solving skills to collect, analyse and collate data into meaningful information.

Appointment to this position is to replace an employee (the parent) during their parental leave or transferal to a safe job, or to replace an employee temporarily promoted or transferred to replace the parent. As the parent has a right to return to work for the reasons set out in the Industrial Relations Act 2016, section 78(2), the duration of the appointment and employment may be less than 12 months.
