We are seeking a professional and experienced Business Manager to join a world leader in the filtration industry. The primary responsibilities include promoting their products, taking them to market, and contributing to the growth and retention of the client's business by expanding their customer base. Our client's product line currently consists of filtration and coolant products, with expansion plans for the mining and construction industries.

Permanent Position $115k + super + $20k car allowance Laptop & Mobile WFH: fully autonomous role, working from home or on the road. Full onboarding and product training provided Mining & Construction industries Must be based in NSW Job Description / Responsibilities: Responsible for managing the relationship and business strategies for accounts (regional, single business unit, internal, etc.). May have responsibility for larger, more complex accounts when paired with a more senior account manager. Responsibilities include:
Selling the organization's products to assigned business customers to achieve sales goals. Expanding existing customer relationships and executing account sales plans in support of business strategy. Developing and managing an assigned sales channel (e.g. customers in NSW/VIC/SA/TAS) to produce a high degree of profitability and market share growth. Providing selling, coaching, and developmental support for customers to improve their knowledge and expertise. Performing field-based marketing activities such as collecting data on competitors' capabilities, emerging markets, and customers' needs. Acting as distributor liaison to resolve day-to-day issues that result in rapid problem solving, improved partner effectiveness, and offers solutions to increase customer satisfaction. Proactively creating and developing relationships with key partners within target organisations. Interstate travel required. Achieving set sales budgets and KPIs. Preferred level of experience: Account management and business development experience. 2-4 years sales experience would be desirable. While specific knowledge of mining and filtration is not necessary, candidates should possess strong sales skills and a willingness to learn and adapt. A learning orientation, the ability to share knowledge, and inclusivity are key traits we are seeking in potential candidates.
Soft skills required: Excellent interpersonal skills; builds and maintains strong relationships with stakeholders. Highly developed written and verbal communications. Demonstrated initiative and sound judgement, with excellent attention to detail. Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously to manage work priorities. Systems knowledge required: Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as basic sales knowledge, is essential. Familiarity with CRM tools is preferred.
