Management - Schools (Education & Training) Full time Playford College opened in 2017 in northern Adelaide and has grown rapidly to now provide a balanced co-education for over 640 students from Foundation to Year 12.
Families are attracted to the College by the education about, and celebration of, Islamic faith and strong teaching and learning programs aligned to the Australian Curriculum.
Students appreciate the kind-hearted and dedicated staff of around 100 who nurture the emotional, academic, social and spiritual needs of each child towards the gaining of 'wisdom through faith and knowledge'.
Reporting to the highly experienced Principal, Chris Riemann, and working closely with the Board, the Business Manager is a member of the Executive Management Team and fulfils a key strategic and operational leadership role across the business and financial operations as well as the infrastructure of the School.
Supported by a small team of specialists, the key areas of responsibility for the Business Manager include: Business and financial management; Oversight of ICT systems and administration; Human resources management; Systems and records management; Risk management and compliance; Property and project management.
Applications are encouraged from ideally CA/CPA qualified professionals with demonstrated experience in a comparable corporate/business services position.
Financial acumen, contemporary people management skills, stakeholder relationship capability, authenticity, energy and integrity will be key qualities for success in this position.
Prior experience in the education or human services sector will be an advantage.
The appointee will be expected to support the ethos of the College.
