Location ProfileFrankston Primary School was established in 1874 and currently has an enrolment of 253 students.
The school commenced a new School Strategic Plan 2023 - 2026, focusing on improving student learning outcomes in Numeracy and Writing and developing teacher practice to enhance learning outcomes.
Our school focus is generated through evidence-based practice and includes building and embedding EDI (explicit direct instruction) as a core element of our instructional practice in literacy and numeracy, F - 2 OG structured synthetic phonics and 3 - 6 morphology.

Teaching Teams at Frankston Primary School collaborate together and are focused on building their capacity to review and analyse data weekly, to inform curriculum planning and learning and teaching, with each Team focused on building the capacity of teaching and student learning through effective PLC (Professional Learning Community) practice.

Selection CriteriaSC1: Demonstrated capacity to lead an office team, including directing the work of others and effective management.
SC2: Demonstrated knowledge and experience in human resource and financial management records systems, budgets development, including knowledge of CASES21.

RoleThis is a full-time position.
A Business Manager role will usually undertake tasks that impact the whole school, seeking cooperation from staff members to achieve specific objectives in school administration, finance or human resources.
ResponsibilitiesDeliver School Services Manage the design and production of school publications and documents.Finance Support the Principal in the preparation of annual budgets and prepare regular financial statements.Prepare funding submissions for the leadership team and school council.Direct the accounting processes of the school according to Treasury regulations.Provide advice to staff on spending against budget.Administer government grants and other school income.Manage fundraising activities.General Administration Ensure the provision of administrative support for the Principal and teaching staff.Manage the processing of student admissions, registrations, enrolments and transfers.Implement induction programs for new staff, volunteers and other workers.Human Resources Manage recruitment procedures.Support the Principal in managing employee relations issues.Manage School Resources Coordinate the use and maintenance of school buildings and equipment.Supervise the delivery of contracted services.Who May ApplyIndividuals with the aptitude, experience and/or qualifications to fulfill the specific requirements of the position.
