Other key responsibilities include oversight of procurement processes in accordance with Defence policy, the coordination and management of SPO reporting requirements and business plan implementation. This position is key to the management of the SPO's contractual arrangements for the provision of both above and below the line workforce.You will have exposure to the operations of CASG at the Executive Level, and across Defence. You can expect to engage with, and provide advice to, stakeholders at all levels, and refine your organisational, negotiation and representational skills. The EL 1 Business Manager is also accountable for leading and managing an integrated team.About our TeamThe new Attack Helicopter Systems Program Office (AHSPO) Apache capability is designed to support the Joint Force of the late 2020s and beyond to fight and win the land battle. As the Attack Helicopter project is an emerging capability, the team, which comprises of ADF, APS and Contractor staff, is rapidly growing. The Team is currently split between Canberra, Brisbane, and Townsville with the EL 2 Business & Commercial Director role is based in Brisbane, QLD.
