Job Description About this Position The Business Fundraising Adviser is responsible for the development and implementation of the Business Supporters program to increase philanthropic income.
This includes businesses who donate to Beyond Blue through fundraising activities, events, cause-related marketing campaigns, workplace giving or customer collections.
The role The key duties of the role include:
Update and continuously improve Business Supporters plans.Develop and implement an annual Business Supporters cultivation and solicitation program with agreed annual financial targets and key milestones.Project manage, evaluate and report back on Business Supporter initiatives.Review and streamline online and offline registration processes for businesses interested in supporting Beyond Blue.Implement a relevant business supporter communication program and appropriate donor journeys.Provide tailored approvals, marketing engagement and campaign support for business supporters.Provide strategic advice on the growth opportunities for the business supporter income stream.Oversee brand alignment and risk management, ensuring all business supporter activities have been evaluated and approved.Develop a suite of support materials and resources to assist business supporters in their fundraising activities for Beyond Blue.Undertake a biannual audit of Business Supporters who could transition into Corporate Partners or be managed as major corporate donors.Provide exceptional customer service to business donors and fundraisers such as supporting community fundraising enquiries. Desired Skills and Experience About you To be successful you will hold a:
A tertiary qualification in a related discipline (marketing/fundraising/business development/communications/events).Proven experience in fundraising, particularly business partnerships, including an understanding of why an organisation would support a particular cause.Experience in the application of marketing, digital communications, and branding practices.Proven experience liaising with stakeholders, donors, and businesses.Experience establishing new fundraising products or campaigns, including the implementation of new processes and monitoring against agreed targets.Excellent written communications skills, with an eye for detail.Excellent public speaking/presentation skills with an ability to pitch ideas and engage audiences at all levels.Project management skills including planning, resource identification and coordination, task and activity monitoring, risk and issues management, evaluation, monitoring and reporting.A solid understanding of CRM, donor management systems combined with proven ability to understand data segmentation and reporting.Culture & Values Our values are the unseen drivers of our behaviours and ultimately become the organisational culture.
