Job Description:
On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to support the integration of Nurse Call systems with Vocera badges across multiple major hospitals in BC.
Responsibilities: Participate as a functional member of the team Escalate risks, issues and constraints to the appropriate Project/Portfolio Manager Serve as a liaison between the project teams and operational teams Provide ongoing status reporting to the Project/Portfolio Manager as required Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, develop and implement solutions Lead reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies as required Conduct meetings and presentations Perform requirements analysis across multiple initiatives Effectively communicate any insights and plans to cross-functional teams Gather critical information from meetings with stakeholders Work closely with clinicians, technical and leadership Ensure solutions align with business needs and requirements Perform user acceptance testing Update, implement, and maintain procedures Provide assistance in the change management strategy (including training and communications) as required Assist and support in any usability analysis and benefits realization efforts Deliver above responsibilities, under the direction of the Lead, Portfolio Manager and/or Project Manager Assist in the management/coordination of other IM/IT projects as necessary Qualifications: Must have: 7+ years of business analysis experience, supporting technology projects 4+ years of experience supporting clinical application implementations, upgrades, and integrations in a public sector health environment 2+ years of experience supporting public sector healthcare organizations in Canada, primarily supporting application projects Experience implementing technologies in a hospital setting, working closely with clinical end users (i.e. doctors, nurses) Nice to have: Professional Project Management designation (e.g. PMP) or equivalent project management education and experience Compensation:
Hourly rate: $80 per hour or $100,000 per year as a full-time employee
