Job Description
As a member of the North American Sales organization and of the Lending & Leasing Business Line, the Business Development Representative will be responsible for selling Linedata's Ekip complete suite of equipment finance and leasing solutions. This seasoned representative will focus on developing and managing a pipeline of new sales prospects, from initial contact through closing of deals. The ideal candidate will display an understanding of the equipment finance and leasing industry and be comfortable presenting software products to senior level executives. In addition to having 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in the equipment finance and leasing software arena, the ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and relationship selling skills.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Reporting to the Sales Department, you will be involved in the following tasks:
Carrying out prospecting campaigns, identifying opportunities and needs in line with our challenges and the target market.
Participating in responses to invitations to tender.
Reporting and monitoring business generated.
Structuring the information gathered from prospects in order to improve our sales offering.
Being an ambassador of our Group's strategy and implement required actions locally.
The duties you will be given are of a progressive nature.
Job Requirement
You have at least 3 years' experience in the sales sector.
One year experience in financial software sales preferred.
You are fluent in English.
Proficiency in office automation tools (MS Pack Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) is essential.
You have demonstrated your ability to react quickly, to take initiative, be independent and discreet, and know how to manage priorities.
You are tenacious and driven by a winning spirit.
You have excellent interpersonal skills and are able to work as part of a team.
