About the RoleWe're on the lookout for an adept Business Development Representative (BDR) who loves and has experience working both inbound and outbound leads to help grow our sales pipeline. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you'll be the front-line connection with prospects, mastering the sales process and qualification and setting our Account Executives up for success. This role is a hybrid (in-office/remote) position that involves researching, initiating and maintaining relationships, and capitalizing on every opportunity to foster growth.
What You'll DoInbound and Outbound Prospecting:- Swiftly respond to inbound inquiries, reducing initial response time- Generate new business leads through outbound opportunities via calls and emailsLead Qualification:- Qualify inbound and outbound leads through effective discovery calls- Understand prospect needs and pain points, articulating our product's value propositionPipeline Generation:- Drive urgency to progress prospects through the sales funnel- Collaborate with the sales team to meet company goals and targetsRelationship Building and Event Representation:- Initiate meetings between prospects and Account Executives- Drive engagement and seize new business opportunities from eventsAbout YouYou are based in Melbourne, Australia.Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field1-3 years of experience as a Business Development RepresentativeAt least 1 year of B2B experience in the SaaS industry selling a multi-point solution to solve multiple pain points for the prospective customerYou thrive in a hybrid work environmentDemonstrated history of success in quota attainmentUnderstanding of MEDDICC or BANT qualificationPrevious experience in outbound sales motions strongly preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency with Salesforce, Hubspot, or other CRM softwareWhat You Can ExpectInitial call with our Talent Acquisition Manager:You'll have an initial call with our Talent Acquisition Manager to chat through some of your experience to date, salary expectations and you can check off any initial questions you might have.Interview with our Director of Business Development:You'll get to meet with the hiring manager to learn more about the role & ROLLER whilst also talking through your experience in more detail.Role Play Working Session:This is where you will get to assemble all you have learned during the interview process and share your plan for your first year at ROLLER.Loop Interviews:This is where you will get to meet our wider ROLLER team to do a 'vibe check' on us to make sure our culture & vibe meet what you are looking for!Offer:If all lights are green and the fit feels right, we'll conduct reference checks and you'll receive an offer to join!Successful applicants will be required to complete a background check (including criminal history) prior to commencement of employment.
