Join a great team! Due to the continued growth of our fund, we are adding a Business Development Manager role into the VIC and TAS markets to support the real estate sector in those states and territory.
The successful applicant will be responsible for building and developing our existing client base with both employers and members directly, as well as leveraging our relationships with the Real Estate Institute of Victoria and the Real Estate Institute of Tasmania.
The position includes travel covering metropolitan Melbourne as well as regional VIC and Tasmania.
Occasional interstate travel for business development and attendance at conferences will be required.
Reporting to the Senior BDM - VIC & TAS, you will be based in Melbourne and will help us continue to grow in the VIC and TAS markets.
Key areas of responsibility include: Developing new business relationships with national agency networks located in VIC & TAS and state-based agency networks and independent agencies based in VIC & TAS.Building on existing member and employer relationships.Building on our existing relationship with the Real Estate Institute of Victoria and the Real Estate Institute of Tasmania.Growing our membership and employer base.Growing our funds under management.Working with both employers and members directly.Skills and Experience RG146 compliant.Minimum 5 years experience in the financial services industry or 5 years in the real estate industry.Demonstrated experience in B2B business development and relationship management.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective business relationships.Excellent diary management skills.Ability to work independently but as part of a national team.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Proven experience in opportunity lead generation through to conversion.Tertiary qualification in a science, economics or business related discipline.Remuneration will be paid commensurate with skills and experience.
Current drivers licence & own vehicle required.
Vehicle running costs will be reimbursed.
Laptop, mobile and travel expenses provided.
