Business Development Manager (VIC/TAS) – Air TicketsYou will manage a portfolio of travel agent accounts and play a key role in maximising Air Tickets' profitability amongst existing and new customers. You will promote and represent the Air Tickets' brand, provide training and briefings on the Air Tickets' suite of products, and demonstrate the benefits of our technology. You will be proactive and drive TTV & revenue through your assigned region and portfolio of Key Accounts.What you're accountable for?Develop and implement sales strategies supporting business growth for an assigned region of accountsMaintain regular face to face and remote contact via a structured call plan cycle with an assigned region of accounts, ensuring ongoing achievement of sales target levelsMaintain and develop a thorough knowledge of the Air Tickets suite of products and servicesAgree plans to deliver sales growth with National Sales ManagerMaintain CRM/Sales Tracker and accurately report on activity weeklyAnalyse and interpret sales data and use this analysis to inform sales growth activityRepresent Air Tickets at industry functions, events, and conferencesExperience3+ years of travel industry experience, preferably in consolidation and within a field sales roleDemonstrated experience in a sales role either in a front-line sales capacity within a travel agency or selling products and services to the travel agency communityStrong international airfares and GDS knowledgeProven track record of building strong relationships with a broad set of stakeholders, including travel agents, owners, preferred airline partners, and internal stakeholdersGood organisational, interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work autonomously and remotelyA few other things to note about the roleRegional, interstate and overseas travel is a requirement of the roleMaintaining a valid drivers license and passport are requirements of the roleRole reports to National Sales ManagerRole is based in VICThe role is Full Time (38 hours)Key result areasTTV and Revenue growth for your assigned portfolioGrowth in number of agents actively ticketing with Air TicketsCompliance with CRM and Sales Tracker usageDelivery of agreed business plansQualificationsCertificate IV in Travel and Tourism or Bachelor's Degree preferredOther considerationsStrong understanding of international airfares and consolidation or travel agent experience selling and utilising Air Tickets productsAbility to work with multiple stakeholders and relate to people from different backgrounds and culturesDemonstrated tenacity and resilienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsAble to network effectivelyAbility to deal with competing priorities and prioritise your workResults driven; can achieve key objectives by developing and implementing a plan relevant to your region and portfolio.Helloworld Travel Employee Benefits:The opportunity to work for an industry leaderA vibrant and energetic work environmentAccess to exclusive travel discountsCareer progression and development opportunitiesYour application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a corporate travel consultant?What's your expected annual base salary?Have you completed a qualification in travel and tourism?
