Business Development Manager - Oil & GasWe are currently seeking a suitably experienced, well-presented, and self-motivated Business Development Manager who enjoys on-the-road, face-to-face sales in the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in relationship building within this industry and an understanding of the requirements of steel and metal piping.Due to the ongoing success and growth of the business, this position offers excellent career progression opportunities and is primarily a field-based role. With the head office based in Naval Base, the successful candidate will receive in-depth technical product training and ongoing internal sales support.Key Responsibilities:Increase market share in Western Australia.Manage and expand the existing client base.Conduct on-site visits and sales.Identify key decision-makers.Prospect for new clients and conduct market research.Collaborate with sales managers and senior management to identify new opportunities, products, and services.Attend regular national sales meetings.Maintain and grow the company database and input data into the CRM system.Provide management and sales reporting.Key Requirements:Previous experience in sales, preferably within the industrial distribution or manufacturing sectors.Technical mindset and the ability to relate to a broad range of clients.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and establish long-term client relationships.Proactive and results-driven mindset, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Exceptional organisational and time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to client sites as required.Reporting to the General Manager, you will have the autonomy to work remotely while also receiving internal technical support when required.
