The BDM will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive commercial strategy aimed at expanding sales to both existing and new customers. You will lead the strategic direction of the mixing product line, ensuring alignment with business objectives while supporting and guiding the external sales team in achieving their sales targets. Key Responsibilities: Developing and implementing sales strategies to drive business growth. Building and managing relationships with key customers. Leading product line direction, ensuring market competitiveness. Supporting the external sales team to meet and exceed sales targets. Market Development & Strategy: Identify market opportunities and create strategies for pricing, distribution, and market penetration. Manage product lifecycle, from introduction to phase-out, ensuring alignment with market demands. Product Expertise & Business Planning: Provide product expertise and contribute to the development of company business plans. Develop strategies specific to the product line and ensure alignment with overall company goals. Budget Management: Assist in managing the product and commercial budget, reviewing spending on a monthly basis to ensure adherence to approved financial guidelines. Program Management: Plan, organize, and coordinate programs to achieve financial and budgetary goals, ensuring optimal resource allocation and management. Customer Coordination & Scheduling: Work closely with customers to ensure proper project planning, including project schedules, design criteria, costs, and goals, while managing resources to meet deadlines. Contract Negotiation & Pricing: Engage with key customers during pre-contract negotiations, recommending pricing based on market knowledge and competitive feedback. Advise management and customers on potential scope changes and their impact. Strategic Coordination: Collaborate with various internal departments to execute strategies, ensuring consistent alignment across functions. Market Penetration & Product Launch: Coordinate product introductions and sales strategies with marketing and sales teams to maximize market penetration. Oversee the scheduling of sales activities within the region. Define and implement promotional activities with marketing. Product Management & Financial Objectives: Monitor established products to ensure ongoing financial performance. Provide recommendations to achieve financial objectives and support the sales forecast process for the Annual Operating Plan and quarterly updates.
