The OpportunityReporting to the National Sales Manager – Major Builders, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key major builders within Victoria. As the BDM, you will be accountable for continually advancing James Hardie's growth of High Value Products within major builders that service the single family new construction segment. This is done by implementing strategies to strengthen our competitive position and deliver sustainable profitable growth year on year.
What you'll doDrive market development within top 20 major builders in regionDevelop integrated business plans to drive growth in repeat use and advocacy of our high value products and new product innovation with all key stakeholders of these businessesExecute insight led frameworks to influence housing design/ranges to adopt fibre cementWork alongside the local team to continually reduce on the wall costs by training enablers on how to design, estimate and install James Hardie productsWork closely with Builder Marketing Managers to plan and execute joint collaborative marketing initiativesAlign opportunities with local sales team to drive growth through key customer partnersWhat you'll bringMinimum 5 years sales experience with a passion for and track record in business developmentPrior experience working with major builders is strongly favourableStrong communication, networking and influencing skills, with the ability to build positive rapport and relationships with key stakeholders across levelsProactive go-getter with proven ability to shift seamlessly between strategic and tactical thinking to deliver outcomesAbility to problem solve and negotiate suitable outcomesProficiency with Microsoft Office suiteExperience with Salesforce or another CRM is desirableWorking @ James HardieStable growth at a global building products manufacturerBonus scheme for all eligible employeesProduct discountsPaid parental leave of 16 weeks for the Primary Carer (including super) and two weeks2 Volunteer days per yearPlenty of employee rewards and benefits including a rewards and recognition programOnline shopping discountsInternational & domestic development and progression opportunitiesAccess to thousands of free self-development modules via James Hardie UniversityAnnual business conferences with Award gala dinnersFree annual health checksEmployee Assistance Program access for you & your immediate family membersHassle free, no cost and confidential access to our onsite psychologists & physiotherapists (specific sites)Proudly providing Australian Made fibre cement to the market for over 100 years.
