Business Development Manager
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager, with experience in selling to the industrial and mining industry within Western Australia. A background in Mining, Minerals, Marine, Oil & Gas or Electrical Industries would be advantageous though not as essential as your ability to grow your network.
This unique role gives you the opportunity to combine your technical skills and knowledge with your passion and ability to conduct sales, customer service, and marketing activities within a prime mining market.
You will be motivated by growing business opportunities and using your electrical knowledge to drive sales by influencing, engaging and supporting our customers. You will have demonstrated experience in developing sales strategies and meeting/exceeding your KPIs.
Responsibilities include

Identifying, evaluating, and pursuing new business opportunities
Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle
Building and maintaining customer relationships with new and existing clients
Researching and developing new business opportunities
Developing quotes, presentations, and sales proposals to prospective clients
Assisting in the tendering process
Attending industry networking events, conferences, and other business opportunities to positively represent the company and drive brand awareness
Sound computer skills
A genuine desire to contribute to innovation, quality, and business growth
Exceptional negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Ability to be flexible with working hours and demands

Benefits

Outstanding base salary depending on experience
Company vehicle or vehicle allowance
Discretionary bonus based on annual company results
Metro-based position with occasional travel as required
General working hours 8am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday

About you
In this role, you will be critical in developing a brand and products to their full potential. The aim is to build on an existing customer base, to create partnerships based on excellent customer service, and where possible, provide unique value-added solutions.
You will be an experienced and knowledgeable business development manager with a minimum of 3 years within the West Australian mining & minerals sector. To be successful, you will have a genuine desire to work with people and provide exceptional customer service and technical support. You will be a customer-focused, sales-oriented technical expert, with a passion for understanding market trends and identifying opportunities for growth and product development.
