About Our Client

The BDM will lead the sales process across the organization, requiring a strategic thinker with comprehensive knowledge of the solar energy market and a proven track record in business development and account management within the solar industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and enhance market presence
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the B2B solar sector
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and timely issue resolution
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics
Prepare and present proposals to key decision-makers
Manage the end-to-end sales cycle
Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities
Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our products and services
Develop comprehensive account plans to drive growth and retention within existing accounts
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless product and service delivery to clients
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities with existing stakeholders
Achieve all KPIs set by management
About You:
We seek an experienced Business Development Manager with a passion for the renewable energy sector. You should have a proven track record of exceeding KPIs, an extensive client portfolio, and strong connections in the solar industry. Experience with government tenders and large-scale projects is a plus. With over five years of experience in the solar field, you'll possess the contacts and reputation needed to excel.
