We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join a growing organisation that specialises in the design, manufacturing, and installation of major retail brands. With established relationships with brands such as Woolworths, Aldi, and JB Hi-Fi, this innovative company delivers high-quality fit-out and installation services, helping to transform retail spaces for some of Australia's most recognised brands.The successful candidate will have a proven track record in business development and be willing to travel throughout VIC, NSW & QLD. With strong internal support and a project management team, this field-based position primarily involves face-to-face sales across the East Coast and offers a high level of autonomy. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers, driving business growth, and ensuring exceptional service delivery on every project.Key Responsibilities:Identify and engage large retail brand clients for fit-outs, installations, and international product sourcing.Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed targets.Build long-term relationships with clients, understanding their specific needs and offering tailored solutions.Lead the full sales process from lead generation to closing deals and contract negotiation.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects and high client satisfaction.Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.Key Requirements:Proven business development or sales experience, preferably in fit-outs, construction, or related fields.Strong connections within the food chain or retail sectors.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.A self-motivated, proactive approach with the ability to work independently.Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused mindset.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.With a highly collaborative team environment, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the ongoing growth of the organisation.
