As the Business Development Manager for WA, you will spearhead market expansion, forging new relationships and driving growth by converting leads into long-term partnerships. Your ability to engage key stakeholders and build strategic alliances will be crucial. This role offers a high level of autonomy, with regular site visits ensuring you're always at the forefront of industry developments.
Key Responsibilities: Research, identify, and develop new business opportunities within targeted markets. Conduct client meetings and engage with potential customers through cold calling, presentations, and demonstrations. Promote the company's brand through thought leadership activities such as lunch-and-learns, conferences, and networking events. Assist with new product development and monitor market trends globally. Build strategic alliances with designers and develop a professional installer network for contractor referrals. Track all interactions and opportunities within CRM tools like HubSpot and Microsoft Office. Key Requirements: Previous experience in a Business Development role, ideally in a technical or solutions-based environment. Experience working within the mining, construction, or major projects sectors. Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills. Proven ability to identify and connect with key decision-makers. Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Excel, and data analytics for tracking opportunities and reporting. Willingness to travel one week each month to various locations, including remote mine sites.
