COMPANY Our client specialises in automated gates and entry systems for industrial, commercial and luxury residential markets.
Unlike the majority of gate automation companies, they are a one-stop-shop, fabricating all their gates in-house. A very well-established business with a reputation of delivering excellence across South East Queensland since 2008.
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join the Logan team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, experience in estimating and quoting within the manufacturing / fabrication industry and a drive to achieve sales targets.
OFFER This is a full-time position that involves both being on-site and in the office. Business Development Manager / Sales Estimator Logan City $85K - $110K + Super + $15K Car Allowance BIG EMPHASIS on company culture Ongoing training and development opportunitiesRESPONSIBILITIES Attend site meetings to discuss gate requirements, provide technical solutions and assist clients with design selections.Perform on-site measures using laser levels to obtain accurate measurements and details for quoting, drafting and manufacturing.Understand and interpret the information provided from other site measures, building plans, and specifications to produce accurate quotations.Follow up on quotations issued, obtain feedback and provide quotation revisions if required.Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.Actively develop sales leads and build trusted client relationships.Maintain communication records about quotes and jobs.Liaise with customers to ensure their needs are met throughout the sales process.CANDIDATE Prior experience within automatic gates & doorsGate technician looking at getting off the tools and pursuing a sales roleProven estimating & quoting experience within the manufacturing industrySolid understanding of building plans, drawings and specificationsExperience with on-site measuring and use of measuring equipmentExcellent communication & interpersonal skillsConfident & professional mannerExcellent computer skills, with the ability to learn new software quicklyHave the ability to listen, communicate and process informationValid drivers licenseP: Tam on (07) 3040 4368 / E: ****** for a confidential chat.
