We are seeking a seasoned professional for the role of Business Development Manager. This position is ideally suited to an experienced individual eager to challenge themselves by supporting the hospital leadership team in delivering experiences that make a difference to our patients and our medical practitioner partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that align with the hospital's annual growth plan and clinical services objectives. About You You will be a highly skilled business development professional who has demonstrated experience in building and maintaining effective partnerships with Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs) and General Practitioners, have a thorough understanding of hospital operations and how to drive successful business development initiatives. Your ability to articulate complex commercial terms and business proposals in a tertiary healthcare setting will make you an ideal candidate, as will your ability in making data driven decisions, having effective communication, presentation and reporting skills, and above all having a professional and engaging manner. You will need to be self-motivated and have a proven track record in delivering healthcare business development programs focused on ambitious yet achievable growth targets. To be successful in the role, you will have: · Relevant tertiary qualifications (highly desirable) – bachelor's in business or a health background · Experience in private hospital clinical services development and procedural services optimisation · Exceptional communication skills and a strong desire to partner with stakeholder · Practiced skills in the direct delivery of referral generation initiative · Ability to identify, develop and promote new services across priority specialties · The ability to thrive in a hands-on ever changing environment · Prior experience in business development/sales in a healthcare or hospital environment.
