About the Role:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for leadership in developing internal/external finance programs and supporting equipment sales through financing and finance program development.
Job Duties:
Planning

Lead/oversee the development of both internal and external finance programs for all product lines with the participation of the various Brandt sales executives.
Provide feedback and guidance to the Brandt Finance team on future opportunities and competitive pressures.
Manage and develop Retail Finance Managers and assist with developing various Brandt Finance personnel to build a motivated and successful workforce focused on long-term success for the company, customers and employees.
Work with the Brandt Finance and sales teams to identify and acquire strategic customers.

Operations

Achieve sales and market share goals, as agreed, for the long-term success of Brandt Finance.
Gather and monitor competitive intelligence from the marketplace to ensure Brandt Finance is providing superior products.
Support Equipment Sales.
Develop sound, positive relationships with both internal and external clients.

Qualifications

Ten plus years of direct equipment finance-related experience in progressively senior management roles required.
Prior Brandt group experience would be considered an asset.
A high level of written and oral communication skills is required.

Working Conditions

Travel the Brandt ANZ footprint, developing and strengthening relationships with strategic customers and sales executives.
