Business Development Manager – Flow Components & Homogenisers

GEA is one of the largest suppliers of process technology for the food industry and a wide range of other industries. The international technology group focuses on process technology and components for sophisticated production processes in various end-user markets.
A vacancy is currently available in our Separation and Flow Technologies Sales team to drive growth in the Australian market.
The role requires an astute Sales or Business Development professional with hands-on engineering and technical skills and at least 5 years of experience who can clearly identify, understand and explain to existing and potential clients the benefits and optimization to be realized through implementation of our technologies, specifically Flow Components & Homogenisers.
Other responsibilities include:
Visiting regular and prospective client businesses to establish and act on selling opportunities across AustraliaMonitoring customers' changing needs and competitor activityQuoting and negotiating prices and credit terms, and completing contracts and recording ordersMaking use of Digital Tools such as CRM for maintaining customer account data such as Installation / Equipment Details / Tech Requests & Service Offer Requests.Budgeting and forecastingAttending relevant industry forums / trade shows and exhibitionsIn return you will be provided with a base salary between $100,000 and $110,000 per annum (based on experience) plus superannuation, competitive bonus, and a vehicle. This is a full-time position based at our facility at Melbourne Airport.
