Seeing Machines works with many of the world's leading brands (including General Motors, Mercedes Benz, Qantas, Caterpillar, Toll) across the transport sectors automotive, commercial road transport (Fleet), and aviation.We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to become a key player in our dynamic team. This is not just another job -it's a remarkable opportunity for a driven professional to take the lead in expanding our client base by winning new accounts that will propel our company to new heights.Why This Role Matters:As we roll out our latest technology across the globe, this key role will be at the forefront, identifying and pursuing strategic opportunities that align with our vision. Your contributions will directly impact our market presence and revenue generation.Key Responsibilities: Manage APAC regional sales to meet agreed targets in line with the company's strategic sales plan. Execute all sales processes and ensure compliance with company systems. Take charge of direct product sales and provide support to indirect sales channels when necessary. Maintain accurate sales activities and pipeline using CRM tools. Represent the company at trade shows and exhibitions. Effectively demonstrate our products to potential customers. Stay informed on industry trends, product features, and competitor offerings. Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer insights. Identify potential market growth areas. Build and maintain relationships with key customers, industry partners, and distribution channels. Collaborate with sales team members and key business leaders to achieve goals. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:Education:Undergraduate degree in marketing, sales, or a related business discipline, or equivalent combination of relevant experience and qualifications in a related field.Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience in selling telematics or closely related products into industries that hold large fleets of transportation. Proven track record of winning large accounts and delivering on sales targets. Experience with complex sales cycles and business-to-business sales to senior buyers (Director/CFO/COO). Familiarity with market dynamics, key players, and purchasing behaviors. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders. Proficiency in documenting activities within a CRM. Personal Attributes: High level of customer service and communication skills, adept at engaging with diverse stakeholders. Excellent negotiation skills with a knack for influencing a variety of audiences. Detail-oriented with strong written and oral communication capabilities. Organized, able to prioritize workloads, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Analytical and problem-solving mindset, capable of making data-driven recommendations. High integrity and confidentiality in all professional dealings. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
