Due to company growth, a newly created position has opened for a talented Business Development Analyst to join their investment team based in Melbourne's inner south. This role will help proactively identify investment opportunities in the business community.
Key responsibilities include: Research and market analysis on industry sectors, trends, emerging technologies, competitors and developmentsRelationship building, networking and collaborating with industry experts, external stakeholders and partners via communications and industry eventsIndustry mapping to identify sub sectors, revenue traction and capital requirements of potential target businessesWork closely with the investment team to identify potential partners and opportunitiesPrepare presentations on research reports and market analysis to managementKey competencies include: Bachelor's degree in business or a related fieldSimilar experience in a business development, research & analysis roleStrong analytical and research skills and ability to interpret dataSelf-motivated with strong work ethicExcellent written and verbal communicationStrong ability to network and build relationshipsEntrepreneurial and commercial mindsetThis is a great opportunity to join a business with 60+ year history in the Australian business community, strong networks across various industries, with potential for career growth and mentorship in a flat business structure.
