About the Role We are seeking a Business Coordinator to join our Newman team. Under guidance and direction, the Business Coordinator will provide support to the General Manager and branch staff. The successful candidate will also provide a high accounting level of administrative support to the division. This opportunity is available as a fulltime role based at our Newman location – housing assistance or supplied company housing can be negotiated. Key Responsibilities Organisation of flights, transport and accommodation for staff Preparing employees and contractors for mobilisation to site and management of personnel files Support Divisional financial planning, processes and budgeting for the division Provide administrative support to all aspects of the Division Overseeing the day to day running of the office Maintenance of assets and disposal of assets Debtors and creditors control Maintaining internal systems Basic document control Assisting with the development of new procedures Organisation of corporate and staff events Drafting and preparation of reports Set-up and management of Subcontractors and Suppliers, including insurances and invoicing Monthly Reporting - Forward orders, Forecasting, Profit Uptake, Exceptions Skills and Experience Previous experience in Finance Exposure to, and understanding of, the mining and/or construction industry Current drivers' licence Planning and organisational skills to deliver successful projects on time Communication and interpersonal skills for developing and maintaining client and subcontractor relationships Ability to work in a team environment Excellent time management and prioritisation skills High level of initiative and ability to work independently Willingness to work in a remote location Attention to detail Why Work at Ahrens We are continually evolving and investing in our people and facilities to achieve satisfying outcomes.
