About the OpportunityThis role represents a rare opportunity to work on the pioneering SSN AUKUS Build Program, delivering an essential sovereign capability for Australia. The Business Architect - Information Technology will play a crucial role in aligning operating model elements (people, process, technology, and data) with the strategic objectives of ASC. This role involves interpreting strategy and transforming those needs into operating models and solutions that support the strategic goals of the organisation. You will work closely with various stakeholders and subject matter experts across the submarine enterprise to develop and implement architectural frameworks.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain the business architecture framework, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.Translate high-level business strategies into operational needs and actionable plans.Create models that facilitate operational decision-making and blueprint operational elements.Develop roadmaps to implement operational elements and monitor performance.Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs, provide updates, and gather feedback.Ensure streamlined processes, increased operational efficiency, and reduced costs.Foster strong stakeholder relationships and ensure high levels of stakeholder satisfaction.About YouBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.Professional certification such as TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) or Certified Business Architect (CBA) is desirable.Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in a business architecture or related role, preferably within a defence or high-security environment.Strong knowledge of business architecture principles and frameworks.Experience with enterprise architecture tools and methodologies.Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.Ability to translate business requirements into operating model solution blueprints.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Experience in project management and stakeholder engagement.EligibilityThis role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
