Key Federal Government Department seeking multiple BA's to support Digital Transformation initiatives
Your new company
Our client is a key player in upcoming months in the Australian political landscape. They are overseeing a very large, complex, and well-publicised system modernisation program which will have key implications on the Federal Government landscape in the short to long term. There is a huge focus on end-user enhancement as part of this program, with multiple projects in-train to be contributed to. All projects operate in a multidisciplinary environment and will compliment contractors with a diverse set of experience.
Your new role
A massive part of these opportunities will be gaining user insights and coordinating workshops and stakeholder engagement to identify business pain points and work on the analysis of, and solving of these problems. Being an effective conduit between business groups and SME Technology areas will be key, as well as an effective ability to communicate at a high level with efficient timelines and perform effective risk analysis.
Our client is looking for people who can proactively contribute to fostering a positive workplace culture, and work in no uncertain terms, as part of a wider team.
What you'll need to succeed
Candidates will need to have a current, active AGSVA Baseline Clearance or above.
Some of the key sets of experience and skills being sought include:
Demonstrated Experience working as a Business Analyst in a Federal Government setting (preferably 5-years +)Experience in planning, running and documenting of user interviewsDemonstrated ability to translate user needs, using various methods to draw out technical outcomes in line with user outcomesAbility to elicit high quality business requirementsExceptional communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to mentor younger, less experienced team membersIn addition, any exposure to platforms such as ServiceNow (or similar) would be highly regarded. If you have any knowledge of system integration, and the ability to analyse which systems can be brought together to work effectively, that would also be a big plus.
