About the opportunity We continue to grow at Detmold Group, and we're pleased to offer the newly created position of Business Analyst as part of the Group Transformation team.
Based in Adelaide, SA, and reporting to the Group Business Enablement Manager, you'll collaborate across the business to elicit and analyse requirements, deliver solutions and recommendations for technology implementation and delivery.
You will serve as the interface between transformation and the business to gather requirements and translate them into solutions.
To be successful, you will need to be an innovative, solution-focused individual who can deeply analyse issues to identify root causes rather than merely addressing symptoms.
In terms of specific responsibilities, you will: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify pain points and inefficiencies, developing technical solutions to address business requirements. Define business problems through in-depth investigation and the gathering of technical and non-technical information. Create functional specifications for solutions, estimate costs, identify potential savings, and simplify technical jargon for better understanding. Analyse system designs, workflows, and business models to make recommendations and promote Agile methodologies for technology development. Understand strategic business needs and growth plans to analyse business requirements, propose technology solutions, and conduct validation for optimal outcomes. About you What you'll need:
A degree qualification in Information Technology or Business Analysis or a related discipline. Extensive experience as a Business Analyst across numerous business domains. Demonstrated knowledge of business environments, architectures, and requirements gathering/documentation. The ability to show initiative and critical thinking, being proactive in problem-solving and issue management. Strong stakeholder management skills.
