Role Description
We are seeking multiple experienced Business Analysts to work on infrastructure uplift and service rationalisation projects for a key Federal Government client. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to identify requirements, plan migrations, and support the transformation of legacy systems. You'll help drive infrastructure hosting enhancements and wholesale services rationalisation to ensure streamlined operations and efficient resource use.
Key Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements for operating system and infrastructure upgrades. Define and document strategies for rationalisation and uplift of wholesale ICT services, from discovery to post-migration support. Partner with outsourced ICT providers to plan, coordinate, and implement technical strategies. Ensure a seamless transition of approved solutions to BAU support teams. Utilise client information systems to analyse and interpret data, producing recommendations to guide infrastructure improvements. Conduct detailed analysis of current and future state environments, reviewing findings with stakeholders. Work closely with technical leads to align on strategies and desired project outcomes. Technical Requirements Proven experience in data analysis and categorisation, ideally within business service mapping or similar domains. Ability to clearly communicate complex problems and evidence-based insights, producing documentation on current and future state environments. Skilled in managing diverse stakeholders, independently conducting discovery workshops, and facilitating productive discussions. Demonstrated ability to analyse business processes and develop innovative, effective solutions. Proven experience collaborating with project managers, architects, SMEs, and ICT providers. Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with project management tools. Knowledge of cloud-based data solutions and platforms. Relevant industry experience and a background in a similar sector. Technical writing skills for creating clear, comprehensive documentation for broad stakeholder use. Other Requirements
The role is based in Canberra with some flexibility for remote work. A Baseline security clearance is required, so only Australian Citizens will be considered.
