Contribute to a wide range of projects that aim to achieve strategic objectives, modernise business processes and provide reliable information to help decision-makers.Required Skills And Experience.GeneralBusiness Analyst with 5+ years of experience working within Agile frameworks, particularly Scrum and SAFe.Experience managing discoveries, co-design activities (workshops, interviews etc), process modelling, journey mapping, user stories, management of requirements within a product backlog.Business RequirementIdentifying business needs and making sure they are fully captured by planning, defining, and managing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional and technical requirements.Conducting business discovery and co-design workshops, interviews, and meetings with internal and external stakeholders/working groups.Recommend effective business and ICT changes.Analysis and reportingExtensive experience and highly developed skills in performing analysis of systems and business processes, process mapping, user stories, use cases, data migration source-to-target mapping, specifications, and wireframes.A strong eye for detail and excellent data presentation skills.An ability to describe the business impacts of current and proposed solutions, including risks and benefits.Analysis and reporting on the results of new solutions implemented in business and IT processes.Stakeholder managementAbility to build relationships and work collaboratively with stakeholders, including the ability to act as the team's representative in meetings with business units.Experience facilitating workshops, stakeholder interviews, presentations, product backlog management and user acceptance testing.DocumentationThe ability to design, manage, and refine business processes, user journeys, and other supporting documents as necessary.Developing artifacts to support requirements definition, such as process models, operational concepts, prototypes, and insights derived from data.Assisting in the development of training materials, user guides and standardisation documents in connection with the deployment of new systems.Residency and ClearanceHold a current ASGVA Baseline clearance or be able to obtain one.Australian Citizen.This role is open to Canberra based applicants.Who are Local Peoples?Local Peoples is a strategic research and design studio based in Melbourne and Canberra.
