Location: Fortitude Valley, Queensland Type: Contract Job #17233 Overview Our commercial client is seeking a Brisbane-based mid-level Business Analyst to join their Technology team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
This role will play a crucial part in providing business analysis expertise across various continuous improvement initiatives, minor works, and projects.
The ideal candidate will engage with key business stakeholders to validate and document business requirements, collaborating with technical teams to ensure clear scope and detailed estimates.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum and Kanban, is essential.
Responsibilities Liaise directly with stakeholders to define and document clear business requirements for projects and continuous improvement efforts.
Collaborate with technical resources to assess possible options and determine the best solutions.
Create and present clear, succinct documentation for all analysis conducted, ensuring transparency and understanding.
Critically evaluate current state documentation and contribute to the design of future state processes.
Maintain strong communication between business and project teams to effectively manage and meet expectations.
Assist stakeholders in facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including the creation of test cases and scenarios.
Support solution go-lives and facilitate the handover process to operational support teams.
Work independently or as part of a collaborative delivery team as needed.
Skills Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Business Analyst role within IT streams, particularly in Agile development teams.
Strong skills in business engagement, change management, training, and communication.
Excellent communication abilities, with a proven track record of working directly with business, operational, and technology stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
Experience in planning and executing testing and UAT processes.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to ask the right questions and gather relevant information.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team of professionals.
