Division Overview The Policy Programs and Engagement division is responsible for shaping policies, managing stakeholder relationships, and driving program delivery to achieve optimal outcomes.
Primary Purpose of the Position As a Business Analyst, you will work independently under broad direction to drive and deliver product design aligned with strategic objectives across various projects, including Aged Care, Allied Health, and Medicines Management.
Your role will involve developing and documenting requirements based on stakeholder input.
Key Responsibilities 1.
Understand and Develop Business Requirements Collaborate with agency divisions and external stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements.
Create clear and concise requirement specifications using standard templates.
Analyze requirements for completeness and feasibility, tracking their status throughout the project lifecycle.
2. Business Analysis and Project Artefact Delivery Partner with delivery teams and external partners to ensure a shared understanding of requirements.
Utilize diverse methods for gathering requirements, including workshops and user journeys.
Manage requirement changes and ensure effective documentation.

Collaboration and Co-design Facilitate workshops and feedback loops with stakeholders to ensure aligned design solutions.
Actively participate as a team member throughout the product lifecycle.

Process Alignment Ensure alignment with the agency's service delivery processes.
Engage in agile team activities such as stand-ups and retrospectives.
5.
Requirements and Outcome Assurance Govern requirements across teams and stakeholder groups.
Ensure adherence to assurance processes related to policy, security, and clinical safety.
Essential Requirements Ability to maintain a Baseline security clearance, with potential for a higher clearance.
Ability to obtain and maintain a national police check.
Australian citizenship is mandatory.
