About the Opportunity As Social Media Director, you will be at the forefront of crafting OKX social and cultural presence through impactful concepts and thumb-stopping content.
You will lead the global social team towards big ideas, innovative executions, and new social opportunities for social organic and paid content.
You will work with social media managers to define our storytelling on social channels, bring day-to-day posts to life and jam with influencers to figure out what's the next big thing.
What You'll Be Doing Continuously explore new trends and technologies to stay ahead of the curve and deliver innovative social content.
Ideate, oversee and execute social storytelling on X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat or TikTok.
Work with influencers to create video content and memes.
Generate strategic framework and copy for brand and product campaigns that bring home our brand's unique tone of voice and distinctive style.
Collaborate with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, align distribution requests and complete tasks.
Create SOPs for effective cross functional collaboration, resolve conflicts and supercharge GTMs.
What We Look For In You 8+ years of experience in social media and/or brand marketing.
Previous experience creating for social media channels X, Instagram, TikTok, Discord.
You love and live memes - from classic memes to irl trends, you know what's going on in popular culture.
You get your dopamine from creative taglines and social first storytelling.
You have framework thinking and an owner mentality.
Portfolio that demonstrates your strategic, conceptual, and design skills.
Exceptional communication skills in English.
Problem-solver and flexible to adapt to the ever-evolving climate of social media.
Prioritization skills and ability to manage timely social projects and evergreen campaigns.
Nice to Haves Understanding of cryptocurrency/blockchain-related terminologies and trends.
Bonus points if you have previously worked at a crypto exchange.
Passionate about blockchain technology and the crypto payments space.
