About the Role We are seeking a Category Manager to join our client's centralised procurement team on a job-share arrangement, managing the Corporate Category. This 12-month fixed-term contract offers part-time hours in a role where you can make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities Provide expert advice and guidance on all aspects of category management and sourcing across the Corporate categories, including Professional / Consultancy Services, Marketing, Human Resources, Training & Development, and Corporate Services.Negotiate additional requirements and resolve conflicts between stakeholders and suppliers.Lead end-to-end procurement activities, acting as the procurement lead in market engagement processes.Develop and implement strategic contract management and supplier relationship management plans.Manage risk and ensure compliance with procurement and tendering guidelines, while adopting innovative, best-practice solutions.Optimise the supply base within key categories, identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.Your Background Proven experience in strategic sourcing, category management, and procurement, ideally with experience across the Corporate Category of spend or Indirects.Strong capability in delivering commercially astute outcomes.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and build positive relationships with stakeholders.A collaborative team player with a proven ability to achieve results in a dynamic environment.What's On Offer Part-time role (3 days per week) with flexible working arrangements.Sydney CBD location, hybrid working model (2 days in-office, 1 day from home).Opportunity to work for an iconic business within a supportive and growing team.Attractive salary package of $192,000 including super / pro rata.Role to start the beginning of January.Eligibility Candidates must have the right to work in Australia.For further information, please contact:
