Due to ongoing project success within our Hobart team, we are now seeking a Senior / Associate Civil Engineer to provide consultancy, engineering services, technical input, and direction in design across a range of major projects for our ever-growing Roads & Highways division. The successful candidates will work alongside the Principal Engineers whilst supporting project delivery, design management, and project management, for positioning and winning projects involving a range of services.
Primary responsibilities include: Development of Road and Civil Design documentation, reports, and specification of Engineering solutions. Giving technical input and advice with respect to Road & Civil infrastructure in accordance with relevant industry/client, Australian, and International Standards. Here's what you'll need: Appropriate relevant Qualifications (e.g., Degree in Civil Engineering). Knowledge and experience of Road & Highway design, engineering principles, methods, and deliverables for infrastructure projects. Demonstrated experience working in a senior capacity on a range of Road & Highway projects. Proven experience in design, project management, and engineering verification. Ability to provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior to mid-level staff. Ability to perform steadily during peak workload and remain calm under pressure.
