Our Village Manager is reducing his commitment to 3 days per week and perhaps less over the next 12 months, providing an opportunity for a Village Manager Share Role to manage a well-established Retirement Village and Supportive Care Facility, approved for NDIS and with a growing number of NDIS residents. This is a permanent part-time position that may grow to a full-time role.
Bellara Village has been supporting the community since 1984. We offer Independent Living, Respite and Supportive Care (Retirees & NDIS participants) as well as Residential Tenancy Act leases. The successful candidate will have the support of the Village Manager 3 days per week (including 1 day of crossover) and a supportive team behind them, with the opportunity to make the role their own.
Working in Village Management, you will be responsible for all issues relating to residents and staff, creating a positive culture and ensuring that the village is maintained and improved.
About You : You will be a highly motivated, mature-minded, and experienced professional with the capability of directing all aspects of the village. To be successful in this role you will need:
Minimum 2 years' experience working within a Residential Aged Care facility, Property Management, or a similar background in Australia. Proven organisational, leadership, and time management skills. Exceptional communication skills. Empathy and the ability to relate to residents and their families from diverse backgrounds. Ability to manage and maintain all aspects of the village. Possess a sound knowledge and understanding of the Retirement and / or NDIS Industry (preferable). Have or be willing to attain a clean Police Check, First Aid (CPR) Certificate, and NDIS Accreditation. Your Responsibilities Will Include : Recruitment, training & management of all on-site staff. Managing, planning & adherence to village budgets and policy constraints. Maintaining asset and plant maintenance routines. Resident relations. Maintaining processes and procedures required within the village.
